Ezekiel Johnson was born in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. on 12 January 1773. Julia Hills was born in Upton, Massachusetts, Sept 26, 1783. They were married on 12 January 1801 in Grafton, Worcester County, Massachusetts. Massachusetts, which had been the home of the peoples shown below, became a major portal for British immigrants, who started coming to New England about 1620. It was the home of many of Ezekiel and Julia Hills Johnson’s ancestors.
